Hanoi Charming Hotel

I had a great stay at Hanoi Charming Hotel. The staff was helpful and friendly. They quickly resolved a problem with the air conditioning in my room, ensuring a comfortable stay. The location was also fantastic, making it easy to explore the city. The breakfast was simple but satisfying. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Cleanliness. Friendly and efficient staff who respond to requests quickly.

Room rather small. Window faces a wall (very close) so no view or natural light.

Staff were exceptional. Location is very good. Rooms are clean and the help you get with tours and travel plans is first class.

Nothing, it was exactly what we needed.

The hotel is located within easy walking distance of the lake and other attractions and the rooms were quite comfortable. The staff were very helpful.

Shower ran out of hot water quickly and the bathroom door wouldn't shut properly. Also the hotel's sign out the front shone directly into our window. Rooms in the middle of the building have no ventilation and so can get musty. Restaurant only serves breakfast.

Staff was really helpfull and nice. Found them sleeping on the floor at the reception during night time.. Compared to price, it's pretty ok hotel, not more or less than you need.

Bring your own smoke detector.... The hotel didn't care much about the safety. The room was clean enough, but the toilet in first floor, near the reception smelled realy bad. Air condition didn't work at our room.

Very helpful and friendly staff. The room was very nice, a wonderful surprise....for sure we will stay again if we return to Hanoi

Was a little bit cold in the room, breakfast not spectacular....

The staff is by far the nicest we met while our month in Vietnam. They got out of their way to help us with anything we asked. Always smilling. The room are a bit small, but it is much quieter than the average and very clean, so all that considered one of the best hotel we stayed at while being here.

When you return from a trip they give you a bat room!!! Staff is not honest. Breakfast is very poor.

It's convenient for shopping around... though the location is quite crowded, especially in the morning (near the market)

The staff in this hotel is more than great. They helped us to buy tickets for the train, started the breakfast 30 minutes earlier because we were leaving, stored our luggage for one day (without any additional payment). Always smiling, always ready to help or just to have a small talk.

The standard room is very small and doesn't have windows.

The staff at the Charming Hotel were the friendliest I have encountered in any hotel. The location in Hanoi is in a car-less street. (Too narrow for cars) so be prepared to walk the 20m to the hotel. As most buildings in Hanoi are very narrow this hotel is only 1 room wide (1 room per floor). Lift access to all floors. The room wasn't very big but the bed was enormous. The bathroom was OK. As we stayed here for 10 days I suspect we had the room with the best view (top floor). Three choices for breakfast & it was sufficient but not big. For the money we paid, this was an amazing hotel. We will definitely stay here when we're next in Hanoi.

Bathroom was a bit tired. Water pressure left somewhat to be desired on the top floor.

The staff were so helpful. Gave us free breakfast and early check in when we arrived. Let us use a room after checkout before we went to catch the night train. Breakfasts were good and room was very comfortable.

Friendly staff, located in the middle of the old quarter, decent breakfast, large room (although no window). Good shower. Airport pickup

Nothing worth mentioning. It's no four star hotel but great value for money.

Hong and her team could not have done more to help with information and taxi bookings - great service.
